Want to see where a spotted tank is aiming before you enter its line of fire? The Ekspoint Minimap Gun Direction mod for World of Tanks adds that information to the minimap.
Every spotted tank gets a small direction indicator tied to its gun. You can follow where an enemy is looking even when the vehicle itself stays outside your line of sight. Corner attacks and blind shots become much easier to plan, and you can choose your angle before the enemy puts you in their sights.
This mod is part of a series of World of Tanks tools from Ekspoint and Armor for situational awareness and battle result analysis. The mod currently circulates in versions 2.4.0.0 and 2.4.0.2, and both use the same configuration file.

How to install
Copy the mods folder into your World of Tanks client folder, for example C:GamesWorld_of_Tanks, and replace the existing files when prompted.

I downloaded this earlier today, though I’m not entirely sure if modifying that configuration file is really required just to get the barrel lines to appear for targets around corners. It seemed to show where enemies were aiming right out of the box for me, so maybe editing the json is only for customizing the colors.
